GO ONE CLICK THIS ONE...
First off, I want to start this review with a HUGE congratulations to CA Harms for being picked up by Limitless, and publishing such a beautiful novel. I tip my hat to you girl.
It is no secret that I am a complete sucker for a good ol' college romance. So, imagine my excitement when I find out the main lead is in college. I love broken pasts, and imperfect characters that face real life situations. That is exactly what Kylie and her friends deal with throughout the whole book.
In this story, we get to see Kylie who is "scarred", and building herself back up. I found myself rooting for her the whole way, and honestly I wanted to kick her a couple times on her journey. Just wait.....until you meet Zander, and then you will know why I wanted to kick her.
There are also a couple characters that you will love to hate, but in my eyes redeem their selves.
CA Harms writes the story, so that I can just tell each character has their own stories to tell, and I sure hope we get to see them in the future!

I truly enjoyed reading Scarred by Love. It was a perfectly written story about relationships and love. Scarred by Love takes you on a journey of what really happens in relationships. I loved the "realness" that brought to the book.
It was so easy for me to connect to Riley's character on a personal level. Riley's fresh out of an abusive relationship, and she meets Zander; God Zander is so delicious. A former football player with tattoos, and he's in a band! Yeah, he is all types of delicious.
After some failed attempts, Zander finally gets Riley on board and their journey is one I won't soon forget. I loved every second of their relationship; they fought, made up, and fell more and more in love with each other. Scarred by Love wasn't the description of a "perfect" love, but it sure was real.
Sometimes you go through hell and back in a relationship, but when two people truly love each other, they both find a way to make it work. That's exactly what Zander and Riley did.
I truly did love this story. I give it a well deserved 5 stars. Great job C.A. Harms. I can't wait to read more from you!!

I am just going to start by throwing this out there… I want more books!!!! Hahaha!! I loved Riley and Zander, so a sequel would be AMAZING and also, spin-off books for her brothers Max and Carson. So, what do you say, C.A. Harms, does that sound like a plan to you? ;)
Okay, let’s start from the beginning.
A beaten up Riley managed to escape yet another drunken encounter with her current boyfriend, Parker…but not withoutquite a few physical bruises and emotional scars. She drove away to the one place she felt safe. Her brother’s apartment. Riley and Carson were extremely close so she knew he’d be able to help her. Except, Carson wasn’t alone that night. So when he saw that state Riley was in, he and his friends rushed over to Parker’s house. Suffice it to say that the police and Riley’s parents had gotten involved by this point.
Time had passed and Riley had healed physically. She moved in with her best friend Kate into a new apartment, and life was finally back to being good. It was time to go out and have some fun again…and so they did. Riley, Kate, and Carson went to a party where she came across the very hot, hot, hot, Zander.
“You have no idea how much I want to kiss you, Riley.”
God!!! Zander was dreamy!!!!!! He carried his heart on his sleeve, he was kind, down to earth, fun, and not to mention, HOT. He had been through a lot already. He knew what heartache really meant, yet he kept on living life as best as he could. You could tell that from that first day, he was a goner where Riley was concerned, and he didn’t stop until he got his girl.
Misunderstandings caused things to not get off on the right foot…not even close. However, little twists and turns kept bringing Riley and Zander together. Fate kept making sure they knew they belonged together. Until it finally happened.
“You and me…I want it Riley.”
Their connection and attraction went beyond what words can express. Simply put, Riley and Zander belonged together in every way. But see, Zander had a few secrets. Secrets that kept getting in the way of his relationship with Riley. And then, there was also Beth. God, did I dislike her!!! She irritated me beyond belief and I felt so bad for Riley! With her extremely snotty comments and actions, Beth kept putting Zander in difficult situations that definitely caused angst and drama throughout the story line.
“Zander held my heart in his hands and had the ability to break me.”
Riley and Zander had a few obstacles along the way…to say the least, but it was amazing seeing them come out stronger each and every time. They deserved to be together and they surely deserved a happily ever after. So yes, I finished reading with a huge smile across my face. The ending was a bit open, so I’m really hoping we get more Zander and Riley in the near future. And like I mentioned in the beginning, spin-offs are more than welcome too!! I want more of Carson and Kate and Max and Bree. =) Go one-click and meet Zander!

Hot Romance Novel Blogger Review
A beaten, bruised and battered Riley has finally started to live again. It had been months since she knocked on her brothers door, terrified, scared, bloodied. It was time and her best friend Kate was going to be the one to help pull her out of this slump. On the other hand, it could Zander that could do that. But right after he hit on Riley, he was dancing with another beautiful blond. Riley had really had it for sure! Men were not worth it! This story was so wonderful and sweet. It had so many moments where I was biting my lip saying to myself, "It has to be NOW! This is time for her to make her move!" And the author held back again....aaahhhhh. But it was so worth the wait. So many unspoken secrets to get in the way. So many twists and turns that left me with my jaw on the floor! I fell in love not only with Riley, but her friends and her brothers. I jumped into the moments with Riley and her quest to find love. The evil brother and the truly good one. Hang on ladies!! You are in for a ride! (in the best sense)!
Thank you C.A. Harms for keeping me on the edge of my seat and running my heart from my toes to head! I loved the "Scarred by Love" book! 10 out of 5 stars from me!!

I am going to keep this review a little simple and sweet just like Scarred by love.
I really enjoyed this story. It drew me in from the first couple of pages and I even finished the book in one day which is rare for me.
C.A. Harms does a great job with writing the story and helped you to fall in love with her characters, both main and supporting.
The story starts off with Riley. A college student who was in an abusive relationship but chose to put an end to it after her ex-boyfriend took his rage to another level one night. She ran to the only place that she knew that was safe; her brother's house. We see as Riley tries to get over this traumatic experience that was done to her and also effected her family. Even though she was closed off for a little while, I really liked when she decided to stop feeling sorry for herself and get her life back.
I really liked Riley's character. She was strong, caring, witty, loving but also had a lot of insecurities. When she falls for the bad boy from the party she didn't expect the kind and sweet person he turned out to be.
Zander knew that there was something special about Riley the first time he saw her at a party one night.
I loved that he came across funny, loving, a bad-ass at times and boy was this one sexy!!!!! He also had a lot of secrets and sometimes I felt like he doubted himself when it came to Riley as a result of his childhood family dysfunctions. Zander looked like a bad boy but he was the sweetest thing ever. It was great to see a change for a man to be concern about the pace of the relationship and not focused on the undeniable attraction.
The story also showed the relationship Zander and his best friend Beth shared. I thought they were too close for comfort. I wanted to punch Zander for not seeing everything his best friend was doing to his relationship with Riley.
Overall, I enjoyed this story. I loved the ride it took me on. Zander's and Riley's relationship was tested by family members and even friends. Did they make it together? or did they let all the outside factors get to their relationship? You will have to grab this one to find out and trust me when I say you will not be disappointed.

Scarred By Love 4.5* Review.
I was blown away by this book. I've never heard of the author before and I was given an ARC for an honest review.
Let me say this was a very refreshing easy read. The book flowed between Zander and Riley's alternating pov's.
Oh god where to start. Well let me just say Parker was a total douchebag and didn't deserve Riley. He deserved what he got from her brother Carson. No man has an excuse for what he done.
I really love these young adult books but Riley's character was so naive considering her past. Her constant misconception of other people drove me nuts. And seriously when she finally got a honest, loving man, she went and let other people guide her.
Deep down she must of known that one brother was playing the other and to believe on first sight, it just pissed me off. Okay yes there was a misunderstanding that helped her, but to take his word for it.
Zander has had a life time of hurt and betrayal. He was dealt bad cards time and time again. Then he finally met Riley and his life had some meaning. But let's face it he was up against a constant battle between is friendship and his girl. Could the two collide or could his happy ever after be taken away from him.
His physical outer body gives the bad boy image, but deep down he is such a sweetheart, my heart melted for him over and over. How could one person go through so much to have more stuff thrown his way.
Grant was the brother who got everything. The perfect family, the house, but even though he tried he never got the girl he wanted. It's always been rivalry to him. To make sure he always won.
This book is definitely the perfect summer read. I honestly wished it was longer.
